RESUMEN

Introducción: En el curso 2009-10, en el entonces Instituto Superior de Ciencias Médicas de La Habana (ISCM-H) se indicó realizar trabajo metodológico de la disciplina Morfofisiología  por  polos docentes.  Este  trabajo  muestra la caracterización de la opinión  estudiantil  sobre  la impartición de la Morfofisiología III,  polo  Trigo-Cabrera,  cursos  09-10 y 10-11.

Objetivo: Determinar  la  satisfacción estudiantil  del primer año de la carrera de Medicina, sobre el  proceso docente durante la impartición de la Morfofisiología III.

Material Y Método: Se inició   investigación sobre    medios,  métodos, formas organizativas docentes  y   materiales, en el polo    Trigo –Cabrera, para continuar el perfeccionamiento. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, de corte transversal,  mediante aplicación de encuestas, con preguntas abiertas, acerca de la satisfacción con la asignatura. Se procesaron frecuencias absolutas y porcentajes  para cada una de las respuestas,   excepto el PNI (positivo, negativo, interesante), que fue analizado solo cualitativamente.

Resultados: Opiniones  más frecuentes. Aspectos positivos: la  preparación de los profesores,  materiales, clases talleres y seminarios, y   consultas en la Facultad. Aspectos negativos: libro en formato digital y mucho contenido en poco tiempo. Interesantes: actividades prácticas y la aplicación de los conocimientos. La vinculación con MGI y las videoconferencias las consideraron buenas, mientras que otras formas organizativas y materiales para estudio, muy buenos (aunque en formato digital). Sugieren que aumenten las actividades prácticas y  materiales  impresos.

Conclusiones: Las principales opiniones estudiantiles fueron satisfactorias; pero se requiere   aún mejorías en   métodos,  medios,  vinculación con MGI  y  posible impresión  del libro integrado. 

             ABSTRACT

Introduction: In the course 2009-10, at that time the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana (HIMS-H), it was indicated to perform the methodological work of Morphophysiology discipline by teaching poles. In this paper a students´ opinions characterization on Morphophysiology III teaching activities, Trigo- Cabrera teaching pole (courses 2009-11), is shown. 

Objective: To determine first year Medical students’ satisfaction on educational process during the teaching-learning process of Morphophysiology III.

Method and Material: A research on the teaching means, methods, materials and teaching activities in the Trigo-Cabrera teaching pole was initiated to continuous the improvement of the process. A transversal descriptive study through surveys with open questions about the degree of satisfaction with the subject was carried out. Results were analyzed through absolute figures and percentages but for PNI (positive, negative and interesting) which was analyzed qualitatively only.

Results: More frequent opinions. Positive aspects: professor´s preparation, materials, workshops and seminars, and consults in faculty. Negative aspects: book in digital format and a lot of contents in a few time. Interesting: practical activities and knowledge application. The linkage with MGI and vidiolectures were considered good, while others organizational teaching forms and materials to study, very good (although in digital format).

Conclusions:   The main students´ opinions were satisfactory; but  improvements in methods, means, linkage with MGI (Integral General Medical) are  still required as well as the possible impression of the integrated book.
